In September I participated in the Kansas Quilt Shophop where each shop had 2 quilt blocks to be used in some type project. Each of the 4 stores (St. Francis, Colby, Oberlin and Norton) had individualized these 8 blocks into quilts and St. Francis created a table runner and 4 placemats. Here are three of the quilt shops designs.

Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of the table runner and placemats from the St. Francis store, but they were just as attractive as all the above.
After I sewed all 8 blocks together I decided to make mine into a 60" tablecloth and use the double braid on the outer edge and color combination like the Norton quilt. Each block presented a new challenge for me and the double braid just added to my learning experiences.
So, here is my top....unfortunately I didn't get enough backing material so will have to wait to finish the tablecloth. I am pleased with the results tho...What do you think?
